Down the Coast we went.
Hello hello,
Hi there, how are you doing?
We just made it back to Bondi after spending the weekend down the coast visting some of Iain's relatives, it was good fun and they were really nice people, they put us up and gave us a huge sunday roast which was promptly demolished by the eating machine that is Neil.
We travelled down to a place called Gerroa which is about 2 hours south of Sydney where Iain's relatives stay and its right on 7 mile beach which we'd heard had really good surf unfortunately the weather wasn't being freindly so we only managed a bit of surfing in a place called Jervis bay a bit further down the coast. We did see alot of cool things though and given the right weather which we don't seem to get alot of it's a really nice part of the country.
Since the last post myself Dave and Neil went on a greencard course which is like a health and safety course for working on building sites in NSW, probably the longest day of my life! but hopefully it should let us get a job pretty easily.
Oh yeah i had my birthday on Saturday, we went to the Gerroa Fishermans Club and had some good grub, steak steak steak! So thank you to all the boys back home & abroad who sent txts and all the family for their e-mails & donations to the Australia fund. Dave & Iain were kind enough to get me the Ghostbusters 1 & 2 box set on DVD which i might watch tonight and Neil gave me a strange strange card, which going by neils standards is probably quite normal! ha ha!
Love to all
Col boy
